Bug Report Recording throws an error

The procedure entry point deflateBound could not be located in the dynamic link library

C:\Program Files (x86)\obs-studio\bin\32bit\avcodec.dll.

An unspecified error occured while recording.

Does the problem persist after an uninstall and reinstall?

Yes I've now uninstalled and reinstalled twice and it still has the same error.
Those files are actually there I checked it just doesn't seem to recognise them

Try downloading the zip package of the current version of obs studio and placing the extracted files into the main studio programfiles folder replacing the existing files.

ok I replaced the files and it seems to be the 32 bit version playing up. The 64 bit version seems to work ok although I haven't really put it through its paces yet. I replaced the desktop link with the 64 bit version as default so the problem doesn't plague me again. Thank you so much for your help.

Probably you are missing some x86 libraries...
