The title pretty much says it all. If anyone has a bit of time to spare, if you could hook me up with a step by step on how to set this up, I would deeply appreciate it. I host a podcast, I do not do it live. When I am doing it solo, I just use my mic and my video/audio editing program and that's that. But, when I have a guest on, I use a horrible free conference call program, and record the call. Audio quality is really garbled and choppy, and there is just no way to edit it to make it sound even half okay. I heard tell that a few podcasts use OBS to record their Google Meet sessions, and the quality is much better. I would just like to record the audio. So, if anyone can sacrifice some time to give me the details on how to do such a thing, I would be highly grateful. Thanks.

If you're just looking to record audio, audio recording software like Audacity might be more appropriate. OBS cannot record only-audio.
