Question / Help Recording stutter when recording at frame rate lower than monitor refresh rate

So i have a 60Hz monitor and when i record gameplay at 60fps it comes out smooth. The problem is when i oc my monitor to 73Hz and record at 60fps the recording is no longer smooth but when i record at 73fps the recordings are fine but i dont want to record at 73fps as when uploading to youtube the video comes out choppy as youtube only does up to 60fps video. So is there a way of me having my monitor at a higher refresh rate and recording at a lower framerate but still have the recording smooth. It is not an encoder overload or anythign like that R5 2400g w/ rx570 8gb using hevc gpu encoding. https://obsproject.com/logs/bR9QDklQY3Md53G9

Not really, no. Mixing refresh rates like that are either going to create stutter, either for your viewing, or for your viewers.

The usual suggestion is to either use the same refresh rate, or use rates that are even multiples (play at 60fps, record at 30, play at 120, record at 60 or 30, etc)
