Hey everyone,
I've been having some issues with my setup lately. Haven't really done much recording or streaming in awhile so over the holidays I wanted to do some recordings for YouTube channel but I've run in to a pretty big issue.
I downloaded and install the latest OBS and set my settings like I always do, but the preview window / canvas seems to be running at sub 30FPS for some unknown reason. As well any recording or stream seems to run at sub 30FPS, I've also uploaded the video to my youtube channel for you to see and attached the log file.
I've tried numerous suggestions on how to fix the problem for example, making sure that the Hz of the monitor is divisable by 60, so I set 120Hz or 60Hz but the problem persisted. I've also tried recording in 1080p or even 720p but again the problem persisted.
There are no dropped frames with encoding or streaming lag.
I used to be able to do recording and streaming without issue before but like I said, I haven't done much in the past year or so. Just a random video here or there.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
