Hello all!
I am using OBS to record (Mainly because I LOVE the multiple audio track recording, if you have other FREE software suggestions here, I'd love to hear 'em!), and am having an issue when trying to save the recording to a network location (Works fine when recording locally). The issue is I will get major frame stuttering, as if I were dropping frames.
Here is a shot of my OBS recording settings. I have tried recording at Higher CRFs but even as high as 26 shows stuttering over the network.
Is recording over the network just not feasible? I'd rather record to my 2TB of network storage than my 250 GB of free space on my desktop (Damn you Steam!)
Also, PC Specs
CPU: Intel i5-4440s 2.8GHz
RAM: 16GB
GPU: GTX 970
HDD Speed: 7200 RPM (Desktop and Server)
Network Speed Test (1GB File Size)
Any help would be wonderful!
