recording on virtual machine

Hello,
I would like to use this beautiful tool to record an online stream that is available in a web browser.
I have spent some time learning how to use OBS and now I am able to use it on my Linux Mint. Unfortunately, my Linux laptop is quite old and my test records with the settings that I would like to use (HD quality, medium file size, 30 fps, 192 audio, mkv) is not really good. The recorded videos are slow, breaking up, the movement is not continuous. I see that while I am recording the CPU is working with full capacity (100%) and the cooler is rotating so hard so it seems that this laptop is not enough good for this job.

Okay, no problem. I have a really powerful Amazon CentOS virtual machine with a powerful CPU and good disk, etc. I installed OBS there. I selected windows capture source and I am able to record the content that appears in the web browser. But unfortunately, the record that I save in this virtual machine is worst than my record on my old Linux. The video is slower, breaking into parts, the movements are not continuous.
I guess that happens because OBS records video from my virtual machine client side, instead of recording browser content directly from the virtual machine side. I guess that the content comes first through the network from amazon to my AWS client and appears on my laptop and OBS records content not directly from the virtual machine. But I am not sure.

So this is the situation. Is there any way to record the content directly from my powerful virtual machine? That virtual machine must be enough good to record and save video properly but my record is not good, it is breaking up parts.

Could you please help me?

Thanks and regards.
