Question / Help Recording Mouse As Separate Video File

I am creating educational videos which normally requires a lot of editing. If I record the mouse movements, once edited I end up with pointer jumps on screen (which is distracting). Camtasia and Filmora Scn save mouse movements separately from the desktop video. This enables to you to edit the mouse independent of the desktop recording and can hide the mouse or even create mouse movement patches. Is there any plugin or way of doing this with OBS?
