My recordings always look really bad quality even though my game runs in high fps. In minecraft's case, the recording comes out in like 30 fps while my game is running at around 700-1000 fps. My pc is also pretty good with a 1080 and a i9-9900K. Im not sure how to fix it.

I don't think your hardware is capable of those framerates without looking like a smoldering pile of sh!t. But what do I know...
OBS should be updated, possibly Windows too. Change the Color Range to Partial.

Changing the encoder settings won't help, it's still going to look bad. The problem starts before the video even gets to the encoder. Crap In >> Crap Out

True & I agree but he was just wasting space, his settings would produce a recording that looked decent.

Disagree, anyway who said anything about recording @ 240FPS? I addressed that I my first post, hardware is not capable.

Guys, he's still using OBS 26.0.2 wich has the old old enconder.
