GPU: Asus Strix 1080
RAM: 16gb 3000mhz
I have used OBS before, with little knowledge, but with great results from following tutorials. Recently ran into a problem where it wasn't recording any sound for some reason. But I ended up getting a new SSD for my OS. So I ended up just formatting. Since then, I've installed all my stuff and got OBS back on and running. I went to the same tutorial for my recording settings that I used last time and put the in. Now at this point, I've tried many different settings, with no avail, same exact problem every time. I've set my bitrate to 2000, same thing.
What's happening is, my recording is choppy. But only when I record while in game, while at the menu, not doing anything, it's choppy. But when I record while watching the game from OBS, that video is smooth as butter.
This is driving me nuts. :( Pleease help.
