Question / Help Recording is lagging, but game doesn't

As the title says: Even though the game isn't lagging my recording does...I'm relatively new to OBS so I don't have a clue what could be the problem.

CPU: Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4770S CPU @ 3.10GHz
RAM: 16 GB
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080
