Recording in 60FPS

Not sure what's going on but I actually don't even have the options under the video section for 60 FPS. It's there but greyed out, it's also forcing my Output (Scaled) Resolution to 720p, there's only 3 options there and 720p is the highest quality there. Gear is an i7 8700 and a GTX 1080. I'm fairly certain I should be able to handle 60FPS and I think at one point I could.

OBS version is 26.1.1 (64 bit)

Change your recording format to mkv or mp4. That will fix the FPS problem. If it doesn’t fix it then that just means that your computer might not be able to handle more than 30 FPS. Your max output resolution is only as big as your monitor.

I'd be surprised if my CPU and card couldn't handle 60 FPS but I'll try those settings and see. These are 24" Acer 120Hz monitors and it's way within spec to get a measly 1080p Resolution out of them. They're not 4k but they should handle 1080p easily.

Update: no change when going between mkv, mp4 or flv. Feel like there's something else going on here.
