Question / Help Recording in 16:9 while playing in 21:9

Hi, I game at 3440x1440, with OBS when I record I set the resolution in OBS to 2560x1440 and it records the central 2560x1440 section of the screen. However when I do this in OBS Studio it records the left 2560x1440 section of the screen. Is there a way to get it to behave like OBS did and record the middle of the screen?
