Question / Help Recording High-Resolution Audio (e.g, 24-bit / 96 kHz)

I'm using OBS in a recording studio environment, where we typically work at 24-bits / 96 kHz. OBS does a fair job of downsampling 24/96 to 16/48 (better than any other screen recorder I've tested, so far), but it's still too rough for public consumption. Is there anything I can do to improve this or, better yet, coax OBS to support 24/96, without necessarily submitting a feature request? In Adobe Premiere, for example, users can add and remove third-party CODECs.

Any advice is greatly appreciated.
