Question / Help Recording Gaming

Intel i5-2410M (2.3GHz to 2.9GHz Turbo Boost)
GeForce GT 525M
16gb RAM

Recording works for stuff like browsing but in gaming it records around 2-3 fps.
In game i usually get about 100fps, with this active its pretty much the same, but only 2-3 fps gets recorded when i review the recording.

Just a bad laptop or something else?

Something else. For recording 30fps, your game need to render 30fps only.

You'll probably find that your game at 100fps isn't leaving enough CPU for encoding the video. Try capping it at 60 fps, also post a log please :-) details here:
