If I try to record something, it will work fine when I don't have anything open in fullscreen. When I do record something in fullscreen (like a game) the video will freeze, but the sound will continue as normal. Also, it appears windowed while recording, even though its not. Any reason for this to happen, if so how can I fix it?

Im having the same issue (keeps on recording but the video itself pauses ) and Im using game capture to capture the game.

I am having a similar Issue
I have tried so many things now, making a new and clean instillation of OBS updating all my drivers etc..
But I cant fix this issue, maybe somebody can help me pleas?
Fore some time now every time when I have running a Fullscreen Application OBS will freeze for a few second every time I click inside the Fullscreen APP?
This only happens when running a app in full screen, if I run them in windowed mode the freezing do not happen?
OBS doesn't even have to be set to record that app via game capture etc.. even when OBS is just running, as soon as going into any Fullscreen app OBS is freezing for a few seconds?
For example it also happen in an scene where no Display, Window or game Capturing is set. I Also created for testing a scene with only Webcam and nothing else, issue still happens.
