Recording doesn't make sense?!

Deat fellow OBS user,
I just don't get it. At this point I must have changed almost every different setting and I still can't figure the problem out. Since a week ago my gameplay recording started to lag and feel very focused on the center whereas the rest get's a little bit blurred. I made a comparison video which you can find here: https://youtu.be/1w-bGhxrG2g and my log is this one: https://obsproject.com/tools/analyzer?log_url=https://obsproject.com/logs/BiRyuFJSbfC3OOsO
Maybe someone knows what the casue is because at this point I might be better off trying to use a different software even though I don't want to..
Thanks in advance

Instead of CBR use CQP for recording as its based on quality and change the bitrates to whatever is needed to maintain this quality.
Even better, run the Auto-configuration Wizard, apply the settings it gives. Restart OBS (!important) and then test it as is.
Do not change a thing. If it produce a good quality image, keep it this way. You can change the quality preset for a better one and test. Stay in simple output mode. There's no need to use advanced output.

I used the Wizard but the smoothness still didn't return. I don't think it's my computer because it used to work.. What exactly do you mean with bitrate as I cannot change it in CQP settings? When using CQP even with the P1 preset lowest quality it still isn't running smoothly :/ I'm in advance mode again and trying different CQP levels. I'm already down to 12

What's your system load? Reported by the system itself, not OBS. CPU, GPU, RAM, everything.

CQP doesn't directly control bitrate. The setting there is how much detail to throw away, and then it uses whatever bits it needs to encode what's left. That produces a consistent quality, with unpredictable bitrate and file size, at least with any kind of precision. Throwing away more (bigger number) still results in less data being output.

CBR controls bitrate directly, and the encoder figures out how much detail to throw away to use exactly that many bits. So you get a predictable amount of data, but the quality varies.

Now here's my System:
Dell Alienware Aurora R8
Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-9400 CPU @ 2.90GHz
40 GB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660

As PaiSand recommended I am now using OBS recommended settings by taking the auto-configuration wizard settings in simple mode and i did help a tiny bit regarding fps drops but it's not smooth nontheless. After having tried to figure out the solution for more than a week I've decided I'm not capable of solving it alone. So if anybody has suggestions I'm more than open to try them out
