So as far as I know there is no option within OBS to record an application with only it's sound. It is just recording whatever device(s) you have selected as an audio source.
So for example if you are in a Discord call or in general hear music in the background, there is no easy option to record only your game sound and nothing else.
And I know there are workarounds for that by setting your application output to another source and recording this instead but im asking for an option to specificly set the application you want to record, similar to what Discord has with its streaming feature, where you can choose what application you want to stream.
