Question / Help Recording App - Not Capturing New Screens

I am running OBS on Windows 7 with 2 screens. Screen 1 has OBS open on it and is capturing Screen 2. Screen 2 has an application open on it.

The problem is that when the app on Screen 2 opens another window (eg app has button 'show Quotes' which when I click it opens another form in front of the main app screen) the capture on Screen 1 continues to show the main app screen and is not picking-up the Quotes window/screen/form.

I have been through the settings and tried to google but cannot find this issue discussed. Wondering whether I am using the right terminology?

Probably.

Window capture captures a window. If that window is closed or minimized, that capture will stop working, and other windows from the same app will not be captured.

You can use display capture for an entire display, or game capture, which is designed for single window, fullscreen apps.
