Recording a video

Hi
I'm really knew to all this so apologies in a advance for what's possibly a stupid post, what i want to do is record me working on a cloud based website like make a training video i've managed to get myself on the screen but can't seem to findout how i can log onto the website i want to work on then record what i do while narrating

not stupid. quite understandable confusion

OBS is a video compositing tool, ie combine multiple sources like camera and screen, etc. I do recommend the Quick Start guide here on this site under Help
Think of the OBS Preview window like a TV screen. it is a display, NOT something (in general) to interact with.
You interact with your web browser, and other sources, directly. The exception is OBS browser, but I don't use that so can't help

I find it really helps to have dual monitor so you have OBS on one monitor and the content you are interacting with on the other. This is a nice to have, not must have approach
