Question / Help Recording a garbled image

Hi there, I've just lost like 6 total hours of recordings because they're all like the picture I attached.

None of my settings have changed recently. Could this be a hardware problem?

I don't know where to find the log files.

Hopefully that comes across. Viewing the picture isn't working in the preview for me.

Do you have a recommendation for uploading the log file. I've opened OBS a few times since I last recorded so the last log file won't be when I recorded. If that even matters...I'm not sure if I need to start a recording to get the info needed.

Easiest is to make a clean log file.

To make a clean log file, first restart OBS, then start your stream/recording for ~30 seconds and stop it again (take longer if you need, though). Make sure you replicate any issues as best you can, which means having any games/apps open and captured, etc. When you're done select Help > Log Files > Upload Current Log File. Copy the URL and paste it here.

Strangely it seems to be working. VLC is acting a bit odd playing it back though. The time skips 2 seconds or so. But the playback is smooth.

I can't imagine it was just a one off problem. I had many recordings affected
