Question / Help Recorded videos are in <1 FPS

I have tried to record some gameplay multiple times using OBS but the video ends up being below 1 FPS in framerate, only showing 3 or 4 images during a 15 second recording. Am I not using the right settings? Is there a way to fix this or do I simply need more powerful hardware to be able to record? My in-game settings are already as low as they possibly can be.

Code:
16:28:09.096: Output 'simple_file_output': Number of skipped frames due to encoding lag: 2577 (334.7%)
16:28:09.096: Output 'simple_file_output': Number of lagged frames due to rendering lag/stalls: 1366 (51.3%)

Your PC can't keep up with those settings. Try changing the Recording Quality to Indistinguishable, and then the Recording Encoder to Hardware QSV or QuickSync.

Also, you should be using Game Capture for games, not Window Capture.

Don't record at 48fps.
And use indistinguishable recording quality, software low cpu use preset.

This seemed to fix it. Thanks for taking the time to reply, mate.

"I have tried to record some gameplay....."

Use GAME CAPTURE instead of Window Capture
