How do I fix this? I'm using ryzen 5 1600 and gtx 1060. When I view the video it lags but when I was recording it the game itself doesn't lag. I'm new to recording videos how do I fix this?

The game produces its stream of frames independently from the capture and encoding of the frames by a recording software. If your machine isn't powerful enough to process or encode all captured video frames, it may be that OBS encodes only every other frame of the game, or even less. So the game itself always looks smooth, while the video may look choppy.
How to fix: post a log (howto: see sticky in this forum) and we'll see.

I am having the exact same issue! And it started happening recently, before I could record with good FPS in the video.
Also, I can't use NVENC encoder anymore because my OBS crashes ("Ops, OBS has crashed") everytime I click "Start Recording", so I have to use x264, but I don't know if this have anything to do with the low video FPS.

My specs:
GPU: GTX 1050Ti 4GB
CPU: i5 7600
RAM: 16GB
MB: GIGABYTE B250M-GAMING 3

Can't troubleshoot the low FPS issue from this log as there is no streaming/recording session in it.

I'm literally stoping recording then uploading the last log. Am I doing something wrong?

Start it, run until problem occurs, stops, wait a bit. Quit program if necessary. You should be able to look in the log folder and verify that the log you're sharing includes a recording or streaming session manually if just uploading the last log from the menu item isn't working.
