Recorded picture blurring/colour fading

Hello, I found that the video I recorded using OBS didn't look as sharp and vibrant as it was originally shown, as the image below shows:
Snipaste_2023-07-18_20-36-21.png

The left one is what the screen actually shows, and the right one is OBS recorded.

I tried to adjust encoder, render and color settings but nothing helped, so I am here to ask for help.

Log file attached.

Thanks, reading this doc and this other thread: https://obsproject.com/forum/resources/full-vs-partial-color-ranges-explained-for-streaming.1029/ I found the Advanced setting for Color Format.

I had the same issue where 1px lines would be blurry between red squares with NV12 Color Format:

RGB is a bit less blurry, and I444 gives crisp 1px lines:

but from what I read all of this will be lost when uploading to a streaming service anyway.

However it's still good to know as I prefer having a crisp RAW file on my PC so I can then decide later if I convert it to GIF, just show it to a friend or upload it at higher pixel art to screen scale (I need to check how it will look like on Discord, Twitter and YouTube). I also post it on my own website to start with, on which I have full control so it's easy to just swap videos when needed.

I suppose I'll just keep using GIF for crisp videos like this where I don't need audio, and scale 2x or 4x when I really need a full video of a pixel art game.
