Question / Help Recorded mkv and remuxed mp4 not usable by many programs.

On Linux I record to mkv and remux to mp4. Both the mkv and mp4 cannot be used in MacOS by QuickTime, Logic Pro, or DaVince Resolve (they can be viewed with VLC or MPV). I am also unable to upload the videos to Twitter. Any ideas of what I can do to fix this?

A sample file would be helpful, or at least the settings you have set for the encoding.
