Question / Help Recorded a file to Obs and now I can't open it to edit

So I recorded something to Obs studio and it plays fine once I covert it to Mp4. The trouble is I want to edit it back in obs studio. I cannot open the original .flv file using Obs. I get a "cannot find locale/en-us.ini" error no matter what I do. I have uninstalled and re-uploaded obs but the same thing persists. I want to edit the original audio.

Oh, so if I had added audio initially it would have worked? This issue is it recorded background noise which I was unaware of and I wanted to edit (erase) the audio. So I guess I have to redo the whole thing.
