Record with webm format

I wanna know if its possible to record using webm format cause i like recording videos with my friends while we play and then sending them on discord but i cant find any formats that make the files smaller and then i am not able to send the videos.
I tried using a webm converter but they always have a size limit and then i cant even convert the videos.

No, you can't record using the WEBM container but you can use MKV or MOV and then remux it into webm using ffmpeg. In the webs there are many resources where it's explained how to do it, including the ffmpeg project itself.
Anyway webm isn't an smaller container. What you need to do is record in less quality and/or lower resolution. Alternatively, upload the video to Youtube for everyone to see it.
