Question / Help Record using external codecs?

I have heard that the Custom Output (FFmpeg) option can allow you to record with other video encoders than the standard x264 encoder. Will the custom output allow me to record with the Lagarith Lossless codec or the Techsmith screen codec? If not, is there any other way this could be done? I really do like OBS Studio and all the options, but sometimes I would like to use OBS to record with other types of codecs.

You will be restricted to encoders that are implemented in the version of ffmpeg you have installed.
Some of those codecs aren't really worth using (lagarith is apparently one of them since ffmpeg hasn't actually implemented an encoder in their code for it)

According to the FFmpeg documentation, HuffYUV is implemented as an encoder. Which container format do I have to choose to get the HuffYUV encoder option under Video Encoder? I am not the best at ffmpeg, so if someone could give me an example it would be greatly appreciated.
