Hi there,
it seems simple , but im unable to do it and cant find an Answer of ..how to.
I have an Ultra wide Screen 5120 x 1440
Iwant to record a part of the screen with all overlays and popup and incoming Windows.
Its a Music DAW that open a lot windows with specific functions that i want to show..
Therefor the Window Record-mode didn't work.
The Screen mode didn't work either, because i just wont to record only a halve monitor.
THer i only have the option to choose the actual screensize what is 5120 x 1440.
But i want something like 2560x1440 (that should also be the video output size). I don't find a way to do that.
Someone can help me ?
Tnx

To record everything that happens on a screen, you indeed need to use a Display Capture source. If you want to use only a part of it, then crop and maybe resize the source.

Make sure the source is not locked (the lock icon at the Sources list is open). When you select the source, a red boundary box appears around it.
Crop: hold the Alt key down (at some computers apparently only Alt Gr will work) while you drag one of the little red squares at the boundary box. It then becomes green. Resize: drag one of the little red squares.
