Record Ipad Screen at Higher Resolution

Hello! I've just started using OBS and I'm new to the video world as a whole so if I leave out any information that should be include in a post please let me know.

I'm trying to livestream (haven't decided on a platform yet) using several sources. So far, all of them are cooperating for the most part except a screen capture of my 4th generation iPad Air on software version 14.1. I have it plugged into my Late 2013 Macbook Pro (Big Sur version 11.1) with a Logitech USB C to USB 3 cable. When I capture the iPad alone, the preview in OBS responds quickly. As soon as I start adding sources, the screen capture from the iPad begins to lag and blur. Reducing the resolution of the iPad Screen capture resolves the issue, but I would like to optimize things to maximize the resolution of the iPad Screen capture. Is there a way that I can configure the settings to achieve this? Or do I need to upgrade my hardware? If so, what do I need to upgrade? I'm not really sure what powers the iPad Screen capture. I will add a log file from a laggy recording just in case that might help. I'm recording the DSLR with CameraLive as a syphon. I think this is responsible for the json error in the code, but there don't actually seem to be any issues with the footage.

Just adding to how strange the whole thing is, I did a test recording and it looks nearly perfect. In fact the iPad screen is a bit ahead of the DSLR. The log shows 46% frames lagged due to render. Previous tests look terrible but report close to 1% render lag. As soon as I finished the recording, I went back to the OBS preview and the iPad Screen is about 7 seconds behind and very glitchy once again...

Any help or info much appreciated!
