Record button not working first press works second press.

I can't find this issue, maybe I am searching key words incorrectly.

Anyway, I have OBS on 2 PCs, when I hit record, it records but automatically cancels the recording making a 1kb file, but on the 2nd click it records just fine. This is very very annoying. Does anyone know a fix for this? Considering it happens on both of my PCs, I feel like I must not be alone with this problem. Am I doing something incorrectly? Is there a setting I should have on or off?

Make sure in Tools->Output timer no timer is enabled.
