Record a HDMI input without video capture

I have an all-in-one computer that has an HDMI input and works as a monitor, can I record that HDMI input directly from the computer with OBS or do I need something additional
 
That depends on how the HDMI input actually works. If it's just a second input to the monitor part, then no, it's not a capture device and you need a different one. If it runs through an app on the PC, then perhaps you can.
 
No. Those HDMI Input ports essentially 'hijack' the laptop's panel and acts as a simple monitor. It is never captured, and is not accessible to the attached computer. You will need a capture device.
