I am in need of upto 8 inputs on a setup of multiple PCIE capture cards. I have seen a setup using some AverMedia CL332-HN and CD311 cards, but they are obsolete or at least unavailable now. They would have varying inputs that would include DVI/VGA/DP and HDMI, mostly of resolutions 1280x1024 upto 1920. I used the Aver media cards with HDMI adapters to whatever the input was and it worked a treat, but this was some time ago.
I don't mind using 2 cards with 4 inputs or 4 cards with 2, but has anyone got recommendations of what cards are reliable? So far it would seem like the magewell capture pro HDMI card is the most suitable, and there are some cheaper versions that dont look like they have any support or reviews which is ominous (AVMAtrix VC42 for example). I am based out of the UK and any advice would be appreciated.
