Recommendations for 5120x1440p 60fps+ capture only.

I’ve been using OBS for about a month now to capture footage from a game using an RTX 2070 super with a quad core i5 3.8 GHZ Cpu. I have figured out how to record 3D footage for VR consumption. I do not need any streaming capabilities whatsoever. My system is capable of capturing 5120x1440p but only at around 24fps settings in OBS. I’ve debated connecting my old gtx 1060 6gb card in another PCIe slot. It’s a z170 board and populated with 16gb of ram. I’ve also debated getting a capture card. My use case is very different than usual requirements as this is to capture the video of the game with hevnc and for VR playback. The game can enable side by side VR in game using a hook for directx11 and setting the games resolution to 5120x1440p gives me two independent 2560x1440p images but as one 5120x1440p video file. This gives me the best possible resolution of VR playback files allowed by the game. I only care about highest quality and highest frame rate for capture and this one particular game only. Th output is hevnc in mp4 container as a standard 2D video file. I have played the Dual 2D footage (one 5120x1440p clip) back in a VR video player using its SBS mode and it works great for 3D consumption. Only problem is, in OBS, the frame rate only stays steady at 24fps For capture. The video capture becomes unusable beyond this frame setting. Playback on VR setup is fine and the game never hiccups once during capture. It’s only OBS that struggles when set above 24fps for capture. This is obviously a huge strain on my system. Do I need to build a second PC with the old 1060 card and route the video of the game to that as a capture receiver? Can I install the second gpu in another pci slot on the same system in this use case? Should I purchase something like an elgato 4k60 or a capture card from black magic? All options are considered and any help would be appreciated.
