Question / Help Recognize Webcam after nightly disconnect

Hello,
i am using a Logitec C920 HD Pro Webcam with OBS. It's working great.
However because i am paranoid :-) i disconnect my webcam evertime i am not streaming or recording.
When i reconnect the webcam via usb the next day into the same port and start OBS i have to create the source for the webcam new, because the old source does not show/recognize the live-image anymore.

Is there a way to manage this?

I have had that problem intermittently for years and have never really found a way to stop it from happening.
I don't unplug mine and it happens on re-starts too.
Like I said, not all the time..I have a MS cam also and it never happens with that.

To me it seems to be a problem with their software and drivers.
