Recognize Avermedia capture card

I am an AV integrator and install camera systems for churches as part of our scope of work. We ran into a situation recently that has been a problem that I can't solve. The church has a desktop that they use to stream. They get the feed for the stream from a MAC that has OBS and Propresenter so they can add graphics from Propresenter to their camera signal and then send it to the desktop for streaming. They don't stream from the MAC because they use that to record the OBS feed for archival purposes I guess. Anyway, the desktop has an AVermedia capture card installed that gets the feed from the MAC through a Matrox device that we know is working because one of the outputs from that Matrox goes to a video matrix to send it to remote locations throughout the campus. However, we are not able to get OBS on the desktop to produce the video feed coming into the AVermedia input. I don't know exactly what model the card is, sorry and I don't really have any system info for the desktop. I'm just curious if I'm missing some simple process in the set up in OBS or even on the desktop itself that is preventing me from seeing the feed. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated!!
