Recent OBS Update has broken game recording.

Hi as the title says the recent update to OBS Studio has broken the ability of using Game capture to hook into Deep Rock Galactic on DX12 in window borderless mode. I just get a black screen but if I changed the game to DX 11 it will hook correctly. I've mucked around and tried with the windows capture and using the newer windows graphics capture it will hook into the DX 12 version but then I am left with a ugly yellow border on my main screen and can't find a way to remove it. Is this the intended behaviour or just a bug at the moment.

Have you tried with the ".live" plugin by streamelements REMOVED?

Hi, just did a complete reinstall and using just OBS Studio without Streamelements installed and same issue. This was all working perfectly fine yesterday when I streamed. The only change was the new version of OBS. I managed to get rid of the yellow borderline by using automatic instead of windows capture.

Is this fine without having performance issues using windows capture, as I was thinking that game capture gave the best performance for streaming.

Game capture does indeed have the best performance
OBS needs to be running as admin
And you need to NOT be running software types known to conflict

OBS is running by admin privileges and I only have Afterburner from that list and it wasn't causing any issues previously as well, unless OBS has changed however they hook into games with this latest version.

Went back to 26.1.1 and all my usual settings work fine so will skip this version for now :)

The yellow border is a windows-side thing and the ability to turn it off when using a capture source that is using windows graphics capture as the capture method isn't available yet. Microsoft has indicated that it won't be available until at LEAST the 21h2 feature update.

Are you using afterburner's overlays?
do you have ANY clip capturing software running besides obs?

Ah shame about the yellow border then.

I am not using any afterburner overlays, just for fans set curves. And I have no other clip recording software install or used. AMD Relive I use when I am not using OBS to record clips.

Would me uploading a log file from 26.1.1 help in anyway to show maybe some weird conflict between the latest version?

Same here!
It was all working until I get the new 27 version. So my game capture stopped working.
Display capture goes fine, but I don´t want to record all my screen apps.
