Question / Help Reaper VST plugins using OBS with Mac - Does it work? Yes or No

No matter where I place the (Reaper) plugins that I've downloaded, OBS filters never find them. I've watched a dozen videos on this subject and still can't seem to get one to show up on the filter list.

I too am trying to get Audio from Reaper DAW into OBS (using Catalina and latest OBS version). The reastream VST plugin is present in Reaper and I have it set on my track and I see the signal (in the VST configuration window) however when I attempt to find the reastream VST in the filter list I get nothing in the dropdown list.
