Reaper>>>OBS - Audio Distortion.

I am using the reastream plugin on my master in Reaper (I've also tried individual tracks) and have tried on both an audio input capture and the desktop audio in OBS but neither get rid of the heavy distortion. The audio is completely unusable.

I'm using a Focusrite Scarlett 18i20 input device

Everything coming directly from reaper sounds great. It's only the output from OBS that has issues.

Okay. Is it the stream, recording, or monitor from OBS that sounds bad?

Also, how do the meters compare between Reaper and OBS? Is there some mysterious gain in between?

Try without the reastream plugin and see how it works.
Also, as always, a log file of a test or actual session is needed.
