Question / Help Really low fps whilst recording league of legends

Hi,

Whenever I try to record myself playing league of legends I start to lag alot and get low fps.
I'm not computer smart so please bear with me and forgive me if I miss anything obvious.

I have a MSI laptop:
Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4210H CPU @ 2.90GHz 2.90GHz
Installed memory (RAM): 8.00 GB
System type: 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor
Pen and touch: No pen or touch input is available for this Display.

I have Intel(R) HD Graphics 4600 and NVIDIA Geforce 940MX as my display adapters.

Should my laptop be good enough to handle recording and playing league of legends at the same time? Or could it be my OBS settings are not set right?

Hi,
I just recorded and then stopped the recording and chose "Upload last log file". Is that the correct method?

Anyway here is the log files: https://gist.github.com/anonymous/1d7f4a25a96322a4097f65425fdb19da

Also could you please answer my question about whether my laptops specs are good enough to handle obs recording LoL?

Please note while it's running my fps drops to below 10 and when it's not it's completely fine and 60+ minimum

Are you even reading my posts? I'd really like an answer on my question as I'm really worried my laptop is not good enough.

I used to get a black screen until I went to the Nvidia control panel and did this: https://gyazo.com/b9459e205c3c48c1a17b255062e8aa88 which fixed my problem of having a black screen while trying to record league of legends. What you're suggesting is to change it from "Integrated Graphics" to "High-Performance NVIDIA Processor" right?

Thanks

That step is REQUIRED for optimal performance when using game capture. And when doing so, remove ALL display capture sources.

So I have done as you said and removed all sources but my game capture. I tried again and the fps certainly improved from last time where it would be so bad that it almost froze. However, the fps is only around 20 and the game stutters alot making it unplayable.

Here are the log files from latest recording attempt:

Ok this is what I followed this time:
"Or alternatively, here's a bit easier step-by-step for Game Capture:
Nvidia's control panel -> 3D settings on the left -> Global tab on the right -> Click the drop-down box below that, select the nvidia -> Click Apply and OK -> Restart OBS and game."

Worse than before, game takes for ever to load even during a custom game, fps at less than 5 and the game stutters all the time.

You did not turn off multi-adapter compatibility hooking in the game capture source like I told you to.

Also, run obs as admin.
