Question / Help Read the PSA, now having issues.

Windows kindly automatically updated to 1703 which I'm assuming is the creators update
Now all PC games are having terrible frame lag (in obs preview of course)

FPS reamins above 70 in overwatch with epic settings.

Just did a test recording and these bother me
00:46:02.744: Output 'adv_file_output': Total encoded frames: 20779
00:46:02.744: Output 'adv_file_output': Total drawn frames: 20802
00:46:02.744: Output 'adv_file_output': Number of skipped frames due to encoding lag: 477 (2.3%)
00:46:02.744: Output 'adv_file_output': Number of lagged frames due to rendering lag/stalls: 10843 (52.1%)

2 days ago everything was fine xD

found the culprit. In game capture turn off

Anti-Cheat compatibility and Mouse curser.

Also turn off game mode as mentioned above,

Windows key, settings, game (hub) then turn everything off.

scratch that, it only maintains 60fps when NOT clicked on the game. Anything outside of it, goes right back to 60 >__> weird.

Just to test a bit further, I'll be detailed explaining ^^ that

So, I have overwatch & obs opened

Overwatch is in Windowed Borderless
Game Capture is enabled
Game Mode is turned off
Overwatch in-game FPS is not effected
OBS gets 3-10 frames while clicked ON Overwatch.
When clicked off of Overwatch and looking at OBS only, (on second monitor) I can hover over to the game (without clicking) and everything is fine at 60FPS on OBS.
However, as soon as I click on Overwatch, OBS goes immediately to 3-10FPS.

This happens with my Elgato HD60 Pro aswell, and this all started today. To be specific, about 3-4 hours ago. Rebooted several times, uninstalled some stuff, issue is persistent.

HD60 Pro connected directly to my PC capturing my monitor. NOT consoles, consoles seem to be fine.

Everything is working fine now. Literally minutes later, I didn't touch anything.
Will update again if it acts up

I never knew about this new "Game" section they added to the settings in the Creator's update. Going to test and see if this fixes the same issues I'm having

For Overwatch make sure that Dynamic reflections is turned off in the game.
