So I picked up a Razer Ripsaw super cheap and am trying to use it for something that it wasn't designed for. Go figure!
I'm using it to stream live video from a camcorder to play live events over youtube. The camcorder has an HDMI out which I'm plugging into the HDMI in on the Ripsaw. I'm using USB 3.0 from the Ripsaw out to a USB 3.0 port in my laptop. Streaming video worked great right away. However, no matter how hard I try, I can only seem to get OBS to broadcast the audio from my laptops built in microphone.
Do any of you have any recommendations on setting to try to get the audio to work out of the camera? It's using the base audio in from a Canon XA10 though if I can get that working I'll be using an XLR powered shotgun mic from on the camera (though I don't think that should change any settings since the audio out from the camera will still be coming through the HDMI.)
