Question / Help Razer Ripsaw Deinterlacing Issue

I use the Razer Ripsaw and noticed that the the device can capture and stream very well at 1080p with no issues. since I use progressive scan to capture, I should not need any deinterlacing. However, I use AMD Eyefinity to capture/clone my PC video from the Razer Ripsaw's HDMI input at a resolution of 1080p. The Razer Ripsaw is connected to a second PC with a GTX 1060 3GB. I then would select Disable on the Deinterlacing filter in the Game Capture of OBS. When this happens, I can see both even and odd fields, as if my video or my input from my graphics card (AMD R9 Fury) is actually interlaced.

I then selected the Linear 2x as I now use AMD FreeSync and it will display a very smooth stream or recording at 60FPS. I then noticed a lot of screen flickering during gameplay, because I learned that Linear 2x will double the number of fields. My next choice of fixing these weird issues were to select the Yadiff (Yet Another Deinterlacing Filter) and it seems to solve the screen flickering with the Razer Ripsaw.

What is the more appropriate use of the deinterlacing filter for progressive video as I shouldn't need any deinterlacing unless I was capturing with 1080i (intelaced video). I may not have a complete understanding of how AMD FreeSync monitors will capture through OBS or how OBS will process progressive scanned video or interlaced. I was wondering if anyone have issues with other devices like the Elgato game capture.

Here is a pic of what happens when I have both the stream PC's and my gaming PC's resolution to 1080p, 60hz. I selected Disable on the Game Capture's deinterlacing filter when I was playing a game of Overwatch. The result was interlaced looking lines in the output. The problem would go away when I set my FreeSync monitor's resolution to 1080p 72hz only.

I will also gather more detailed information about the Razer Ripsaw, the FreeSync monitor range, and supported resolutions.
