Bug Report Razer Kraken 7.1 USB, have to reboot to get desktop audio

So will it work without reboot if I uninstall the razer software? I don't need surround sound

with 3 jacks, some electrical tape and a lot of soldering luck I could rebuild the surround capbility form usb through analog...but I would rather the expensive shiny headset I bought work out of the box
 
So basically for now, if Kraken razer headset is the only sound we have it's either uninstall the synapse or we r screwed till Razer fixes it? oh great...
 
actually uninstalling synapse did nothing, I still have to reboot

i've 100% reproduced my problem so far
1. use OBS with desktop sound coming from the kraken headset
2. shut down obs
3. wait for computer to go to sleep
4. start up computer
5. start OBS, no sound will come from the desktop channel
6. reboot computer, restart OBS and the desktop sound will work as expected
 
disabling the razer gamescanner service appears to fix the problem

the service stays even if synapse is uninstalled
