Hello everyone! I'm new to the forum, hoping for some assistance. My stream will be running perfectly most of the time, and randomly the green square in the bottom right goes red, chances to 0, OBS disconnects, and eventually reconnects. Sometimes it takes 30 seconds, sometimes 5 minutes, but the times it crashes seem random at best. I have change my bitrate countless times ranging from 2.5k to 5500 (OBS wizard suggests I stream at 6k bitrate). I've tried older versions of OBS, I've tried changing the ingest server (va, chicago, ny, toronto). Have tried gpu and cpu encoding. Have called Comcast numerous times, talking to two managers who insist everything on the network side of things is fine and updated the signal my house gets from the pole outside. I have even run a complete system restore, reinstalling windows, nothing I can think of seems to be working.
