Question / Help Random high pitch noises in my stream and videos

There are random noises in my stream. I tried to change the filters (nuise supression etc.) on my mic/aux. I tried to use another microphone. I tried to use another headset. But couldn't solve the problem. I am not sure if obs is causting it because the noise started 2 weeks ago.

I believe I'm getting the same issue and it's a real annoying problem because it's painful for the viewers to hear. High-pitched audio clicks happen every stream; often on some sort of transition or any other place where audio is turning on suddenly (song rotating in playlist). It happens about once an hour for me when things otherwise sounds normal.

I can provide a few examples of it here from just last night:

https://clips.twitch.tv/smitetv/AgreeableCaterpillarFreakinStinkin here's another one (sorry I'm swearing in this one! :D ) again at 20s this time I'm not sure what caused it at all. No transitions or anything, just happens in the middle of the round and my sentence on the mic.

Hard to identify the cause. I've tried messing with my audio options but there isn't much to them other than bitrate and frequency. I've tried 44 and 48hz. I've noticed this problem only very recently, in the past month or so, and my hardware and drivers haven't changed much this year other than upgrading to Windows 10.

I believe this is obs-studio related because I run a side stream on classic OBS and no one ever seems to hear it on those, but it also has less audio sources playing so I'm not sure.

I tried reinstalling my audio devices but it didn't work, still get this weird sound once or twice a stream

I had to stop using OBS Studio and go back to OBS Classic. This situation kinda suck :(

Hi.

Don't have a solution, but I do have the same issue as you do. Another streamer I know also has the same issue.
I have Windows 10 too, using latest version of OBS Studio and Elgato drivers.
