Hey everyone
Whenever I try to record rainbow six siege. My recording turns out to fine, video, audio, everything. However, when I actually am recording it, my game gets laggy and is choppy. Makes a game like siege unplayable, my mouse movement isn't smooth at all. And my frames drop to around 50. Whereas they usually run at around 80-90 when not recording. It doesn't necessarily feel like my computer all of a sudden starts performing badly, it just feels like its completely unstable, like somethings not working correctly. Both OBS and Siege always run fine individually, but when you mesh them together, it goes to crap.
I have not tried streaming. Although all my settings for streaming would be similar if not the same, apart from the bitrate obviously. I use the NVENC encoder as well, which works fine for every single other game I play. As the standard x264 is too challenging for my PC at times and doesn't provide a good experience. I am really sick of having to go to shadowplay and would love to find a fix.
If anyone has any ideas, definitely let me know. And remember this doesn't happen in any other games. So its like these 2 programs have an issue with each other on my computer.
