Radeon VII as an Encoder for OBS

I am using an all AMD set up and plan to replace my RX 570 8GB OC to a Radeon VII (or AMD Navi once its released) but I am not sure if that will work ok with OBS and most of the things I see for OBS is for NVDIA (just searching in the forums I don't see much for AMD to be honest). So will a Radeon VII work ok if I use it as an Encoder for OBS? Here are the parts of my comp:

- Processor: AMD Ryzen 2700x
- CPU cooler: Cryorig H7 Quad Lumi
- RAM: GSkill Trident Z RGB 16GB Dual DDR4 3200MHZ CL16 (F4-3200C16D-16GTZRX)
- GPU: Radeon RX 570 8GB OC
- PSU: Seasonic 750w Modular Powersupply 80 plus Gold
- 1 Kingston 480GB 2.5 SATA III
- Crucial 480GB BX500 2.5 SSD
- 1 WD 1TB HDD
