I'm labeling it this way because it is what makes sense. Also there isn't really a way to post a log as I believe the problem is caused by how OBS captures frames.
This week I have moved my system to linux due to bugs in the new AMD GPU drivers in windows so that I can continue making youtube videos. However it has been harsh: escape from driver bugs has been hard so I have been using the open source radeon driver.
Where my issue stems is that when I am recording with OBS or streaming and playing something like TF2 or dota or something in wine even my system falls out to an unuseable TTY prompt that just puts this up: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pnSwBlIzg-c
I don't know if this is fixable or not from the OBS team's side but I have a feeling it's a problme with how OBS and radeon communicate so it might have to be worked on from both sides. Normally at this point I would just wait for the system to recover but nothing happens. I can do whatever without OBS running but as soon as it is capturing frames and I am playing a game it is a deathclock to that crash screen.
Again, I have no clue if the OBS devs can do anything about this, but I thought I should let them know.
