Bug Report QuickSync encoded video buggy & not recognized in Sony Vegas

Hi, I've been trying to record in 720p@60fps using the QuickSync encoder but I've also been experiencing a few problems with the output.
During playback, whenever I use the timeline in VLC to choose a point to play the video becomes grey, pixelated/blocky for a second.
Another problem is that when used in Sony Vegas, the video is not recognized, just the audio. Screenshot

This is what I can see on VLC media player: https://youtu.be/H8cCfm_Fji0

Some similar threads have suggested to record to FLV and remux to MP4. It fixes the grey playback issue, but the video still isn't recognized in Sony Vegas. It also removes the ability to use multiple audio tracks.

CPU: i5 4570 (HD4600 iGPU)
GPU: GTX 760

Encoding Settings (I have tried tweaking these but no fix) Screenshot
Recording Format: MP4
Encoder: QuickSync H.264
Target Usage: Quality
Profile: Main
Keyframe Interval (0=auto): 2 <- Can't set to 0
Async Depth: 4 <- Default
Rate Control: VBR
Bitrate 15000
Max Bitrate 15000

Base Resolution is 1080p scaled to 720p using the Lanczos filter. FPS 59.94.

Any help appreciated, thanks.
