Hi guys,

First of all I would like to thank you for your hard work. OBS is a fantastic software and I love using it.

Not sure why I am having network issues with Twitch for last 6 months. Before the incident I had great connection to Twitch (almost I hit %100 line quality to Twitch EU servers) however my network connection quality has degraded tremendously in last 6 months.

During my stream I am constantly getting frame drops at Twitch. However Youtube works just great even I can do 8000kbit/s without a single frame drop. Moreover this problem occurs more frequently if I use OBS Studio instead OBS Classic.

So my question is -- I have read at some topic that Jim mentioned about porting OBS Classic network features to OBS Studio in order to fine down the frame drop issue. Is there any WIP for this feature and should we expect it soon?

Many thanks.

OBS-studio use the same RTMP type of connections no matter what server is it. Maybe Twitch is overloaded in some part of region? not sure...

If streaming to different website like youtube is totally fine, then very likely to be a problem with either Twitch server, or the connection route path between your internet and Twitch server. This problem is very obvious when I stream to both Twitch and Youtube at the same time, where sometimes I lost connection to Twitch but not YouTube.

The minimum acceptable "Quality" for streaming is 80. None of your connections to Twitch servers rate that high. If it was fine before, and you've ruled out issues with your own hardware (cables, router, modem, network adapters, etc.), then you should call your ISP and ask them what changed.
